Senior Technical Advisor

Annie has been a Senior Technical Advisor for the ACNM Department of Global Outreach for nine years. Her position requires program development, technical writing, curriculum development, reviewing detailed implementation plans, presenting, facilitating workshops, assessing health facilities, evaluating and conducting clinical training for maternal and neonatal health care providers, evaluating and training trainers in teaching methodology of Life Saving Skills, and negotiating and collaborating with non-governmental organizations and ministries of health. She spends 40% of her time in developing countries. Prior to her position with ACNM, Annie practiced full scope nurse-midwifery for 18 years in California and Hawaii.
