Anne Atkinson Hyre, CNM, MSN, MPH, joined ACNM staff in June 2008 as director of global outreach. Hyre came to ACNM from Jhpiego, an international nonprofit health organization affiliated with Johns Hopkins University, where she was employed for 15 years, including eight years based in Jakarta, Indonesia. She has more than 15 years of experience in strategic planning, program design, management, and program evaluation for maternal and reproductive health in the US and abroad and has worked in more than 15 developing countries in the Eurasia, South Asia, Southeast Asia, and Africa. Hyre also has a solid record of success in business development with donors, foundations, and corporations. She can be reached at ahyre@acnm.org.
