Jo Ann Burke

Jo Ann (Josie) is the Administrative Assistant for the Accreditation Commission for Midwifery Education (ACME), the official accrediting body of ACNM. She works with members of ACME as they plan and implement the accreditation process, and with its accredited midwifery education programs and institutions to assist them in meeting accreditation standards, including U.S. Department of Education requirements. Jo Ann graduated from Connecticut College and earned a degree in International Education from Framingham State College while living in Costa Rica. Her part-time job with the ACME allows her to continue teaching part-time.
