Midwives-PAC Rally: Oh, the Places We'll Go!

The Midwives-PAC (Political Action Committee) plays an important role in advancing ACNM’s legislative agenda through campaign contributions to federal legislators. This year’s second annual Rally will feature guest speaker Debbie Jessup, CNM, health legislative aide for US Congresswoman Lucille Roybal-Allard (D-CA). Gather with friends and participate in our silent and live auctions, as well as a mystery wine pull.

The Seussical theme this year speaks to how Midwives-PAC dollars can help expand our scope of practice. Check out over over 100 silent and live auction items, including a 2013 Annual Meeting Registration, consultations with Barbara Hughes and Joani Slager, vacation homes in Whistler, Canada, Palm Springs, California, Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, the mountains of Vermont, the Adirondacks of New York, lake property in Swanton, Maryland, plus “experience” items such as sailing on the Chesapeake and a meal with President-Elect Ginger Breedlove, Ruth Lubic, and Nancy Jo Reedy. One hundred percent of ticket and auction sales will go directly to the Midwives-PAC cause.

Tickets to this event are required and can be purchased when you register online or at the registration desk onsite. There will be a cash bar and food will be served at the Midwifery Celebration Party immediately following the event.
