Publications Committee

Purpose


To work closely with ACNM staff on planning and development of content for books and other information resources (other than ACNM clinical bulletins and position statements).    

Committee Member Responsibilities

The responsibilities of Publications Committee members are explained in the Publications Committee's Standing Rules of Procedure.

The responsibilities of the Committee are to:

  • Identify content gaps or topics worthy of publishing, evaluate and prioritize proposed projects, help maintain an annual publishing schedule, and provide recommendations for retirement of products.
  • Monitor the publishing environment, stay abreast of industry publications, and converse with fellow ACNM members in order to make recommendations on topics and formats for ACNM publications.
  • Review an annual sales report to make recommendations on the revisions and retirement of applicable publications.
  • Evaluate and schedule proposed projects, make recommendations for streamlining publications operations and marketing, and enhancing the value of ACNM publications to members.

Committee Meetings:  The Publications Committee meets monthly via web conferencing and annually in person at the ACNM Annual Meeting.
