Gender and Health Interest Group Annual Meeting

The Gender and Health Interest Group is seeking abstracts to be considered for presentation at the 2012 Gender and Health Interest Group Annual Meeting, to be held in Orlando, Florida, June 23, 2012 in conjunction with AcademyHealth's Annual Research Meeting, June 24 - 26.  The call for abstracts offers researchers, policymakers, and practitioners the opportunity to disseminate research on gender-specific topics relevant to healthcare outcomes and quality, health services and health policy.  They are most interested in papers which improve understanding, interpretation and design of research that examines the critical role of sex, gender and sexual minority status on health and health care.  Submission deadline: February 15, 2012.  Learn more.
