The A.C.N.M. Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting high quality maternal, newborn, and well woman health services through the practice of midwifery. The Foundation supports projects that enhance nurse midwifery education, research and practice.
Education - The Foundation awards scholarships to qualified and deserving student nurse-midwives and supports the development of educational opportunities such as the Domestic Violence program and the Summit on Epidural Anesthesia in Birth.
Research - The Foundation funds research projects and graduate fellowships.
Practice - The Foundation supports projects that help to improve midwifery practice.
