Division of Membership and Publications


To provide overall direction for ACNM membership and publications functions including membership recruitment and retention; evaluation of membership programs; recruitment, retention, and supportive advancement of persons of diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds to and within the profession of midwifery; promotion and support of midwifery efforts to reduce inequities and disparities in maternal child health; development of professional clinical documents and position statements; planning and development of content for books and other information resources; recruitment and retention of students and new midwives; promotion of student priorities and concerns; and development of information for students and new midwives to support professional development.

Division Meetings:  Meetings for the Division of Membership and Publications are held quarterly via web conferencing and annually in person at the ACNM Annual Meeting.
