Upon completion of the presentation, the attendees will understand: Correct structuring strategies to protect all assets (business and personal) from any lawsuit, from any direction; How through understanding your legal structuring you can lower your income tax and eliminate capital gains and estate taxes; and the proper usage (individually and in strategic combination) of trusts, partnerships, and LLC's among other entities. With the current economic difficulties, people are more likely to resort to acts of desperation to get by. Taxes are climbing increasingly higher, and the nation in general has accepted the idea that lawsuits are a legitimate way to get income, even if the lawsuit is filed under false pretenses. This course will teach attendees how to protect 100% of their personal and business assets while reducing their taxes with the same tools.

Non-invasive prenatal testing has rapidly become a preferred method of aneuploidy screening, given its high sensitivity and low false positive rate. The recent publication of the landmark NEXT study in the New England Journal of Medicine directly compares the performance of first trimester combined screening to the Harmony non-invasive prenatal test in a general pregnancy population of almost 16,000 women. Come join us for a detailed review of the results of this study and discussion of the implications for utilization of NIPT in midwifery practice moving forward.
